hi.

my hubby and i purchased an icandy pear buggy in january just before our 3rd baby was born. we were under the impression it took a buggy board with the 2 seats on but it doesnt. i have a daughter who has just turned 3, she can walk quite far now but still needs a buggy board for long trips out. my son who is 19 months will eventually use a board too, i also have a 7 week old son. I dont drive (am learning) but will not have my own car even when i do pass, it will be occasionally borrowing hubbys car. i have tall children too and had looked at getting a buggy pod to attach to a single buggy as my first son likes to walk with his big sister now but still gets tired, but it only takes a max weight of 33lbs odd, my son is 30lbs now. i was considering a carrier for my new son, but he is a big baby for his age and i may not get to use it for long, plus when it rains he will get wet as i cant hold a brolly and push a buggy with a toddler on a board. is there any answer out there? i would ideally like a decent single buggy (was considering the maclaren techno xt) but i need something for my 19 month old and a board for my daughter too...ahhhh so annoying i know! any suggestions gratefully received!

I think you will have to compromise & get a double pushchair & a buggy board

Sorry if this is a stupid question... but have you actually tried a buggy board on it?
I've got a bugaboo bee and a P&T pram... both say they are not compatible with buggy boards of any type but the litaf board 2 go fits on both perfectly!

Just buy the cheapest double to tide you over, I got the Graco one and it was fine.

hi

yes we have tried 2 of the buggy boards we have on the pram, both fit but there is no room for my daughter to stand on it as the seats come so far back it takes up her standing space on it. one of the boards is the litaf seat to go but as i say there is no room at all for her to sit. the other problem is we cannot have a side by side double as our front door will not take a double through it and we have a tiny forecourt and then out onto the street, would be such a hassle getting 2 little ones in and out especially if raining. just wish the buggy pod took a greater weight and i would be sorted. thanks for your input!

I think a 3yo should be able to walk TBH. Have you not got a sling from previous babies?

what about a backpack with a rain cover?
