Hello
so we are moving out of our house and have to put about 80% of our furniture into storage. The storage facility is very secure and has constant airflow for mould purposes etc. The lady said the worst thing would be the occasional spider 🕷️ eeewwww!!!
we will be covering our sofa, boxing and bubble wrapping breakable stuff etc. my daughter has so much teddies etc so they will have to go into storage too and I’m thinking a big plastic box for these along with our curtains and other laundry type items. However I’m so stressed our stuff will get ruined 🥹 I plan to check in every few weeks and make sure there is no signs of damage but am I overthinking? Everything will be insured but little things like my daughter’s nursery furniture is making me panic. We have no other option!!!!

How long will it be in storage for? Our belongings all went into storage for 7 weeks between houses recently. We didn’t pack or protect anything in any special way. The removal company put sheets over the sofas and fabric bed frame. This was winter time too and it was all fine.

I have a permanent storage room. I once did get mice in one box of Christmas decorations. But other than that have never had a problem, not even with spiders!
