Another Party thread, december at the beach

Madness?

We are piss poor atm, school fees have gone up and weve just discovered am preggers with dc3!!
So for my ds1 birthday in december he will be 7. I was thinking of pitching our gigantic 10 person tent (without insides) at the beach (which we live opposite) and put ak the food etc in it, then do some type of scavenger hunt and crafty thing with the results afterwards in the tent. If I stipulate warm clothes coats and mums to stay do you this could work? or is it madness.

yeah, but kids these day dont feel it do they, all that running around! I have in my head a bright srisp day-reality it will be grey and raining.!

Sounds like it could be fun, but that time of year I think you'd need a back up plan in case it's blowing a hoolie. I'm a bit in awe of you starting to plan a December party now, I'm just starting to think about dd's and it's in May!

Im only planning it now cos of the no money situation-We did the all signing all dancin perty last year and it cost £200+ which is just bonkers, I dont have a big house but could just about fit them in if we cleared everything out of th eplay room, then its just what to do with them!
