Bit of a random one but I'm finally treating myself to a hair appointment (first since October...) and I'm not sure what I want to ask for. I would like to go in with a bit of an idea for the poor hairdresser who gets to deal with my mess of hair.
My natural colour is a light brown but I wanted to disguise the greys that were creeping through so I've been getting a full head of highlights for the last few years. Unfortunately I have got stuck in a bit of rut of just going for the same thing which has resulted in me being pretty blonde. I'm also notoriously bad at booking regular appointments (the rest of the family come first before poor mum) meaning that my roots get to a ridiculous regrowth before I find time rebook.
I think I want to go back to a lower maintenance hairstyle which will inevitably mean heading closer to my natural root colour. But the key bit is that if there is some regrowth I don't want it to be so obvious as realistically I only go around 3 times a year 😬.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance 🙂
