I’m currently waiting on a enhanced DBS , about a few weeks ago I was asked to go to a voluntary interview at the police station in regards to a child neglect allegation, I’ve still not heard of the police or the outcome and nothing has been reported to my place of work where I’m currently working at the moment , but I’m moving job as I’m relocating to a different area I was not charged or arrested or anything like that , it’s my own child that has said untrue stuff to Ss and is now on child in need plan will any of this show up on my DBS? It’s to work with children which I have been for a while now can anyone help me please

Not sore if it will show on your DBS but I think most application forms will ask you to disclose if you've been the subject of a child protection investigation or if your children are known to SS

If applying for a position in a school, you are likely to be asked if you have ever been subject to questioning or allegations relating to suitability of caring for children. It's usually a yes or no answer. You will have to answer yes and provide more details, regardless of the outcome of your DBS application.
