Accident in work's vehicle

Hi all. Renewing car insurance. I had an accident in works van where my brakes seized during the recent floods and therefore I had to stop by driving up a bank and pinged a car. I'm assuming I need to notify my insurance company ? Do I ?

My mum damaged a work car a few years ago and didn't notify her personal insurers, it was all dealt with through the company insurance so didn't see a need to. I can't imagine you'd need to but I'd suggest checking your own providers policy or ask your employer, they might know.
