CHOOSING ALTERNATIVE HOSPITAL FOR SURGERY

hello can anyone give me any advice on how to choose an alternative hospital/Health authority for surgery? my NHS waiting list is 64 weeks at least and im willing to travel anywhere to get my operation done more quickly

Sorry you’re looking at a long waiting time for surgery.
I’d want very clear details on how the after care would work, for example, if you need any post op dressing changes, would that be done at your GP surgery or would you have to travel back to the hospital where you had the procedure. Same for any physio if required. Also, any complications, where would they be dealt with?
