Hi there. I've been in homeless accommodation with my kids for almost 2 years. I got a call yesterday out the blue from housing saying they might have a flat available for me. It's in Macdowall St in Johnstone. I'm not hugely familiar with the area tbh as I relocated here when fleeing domestic abuse.

I just wanted to see if anyone knows the area or street and can tell me if its a safe enough street. I'm a nervous wreck due to what's happened. I'm scared to knock it back after waiting 2 years for an offer to finally come through.

Thank you so much. I've waited for our forever home and I'm so emotional over the prospect. The housing officer did say it's not a definite offer yet so don't want to get my hopes up. X
