Passport renewal but father is no contact for the last 9 years.

I'm renewing my 10 year olds passport. All my details are on the online application. On all her passports I have not included father's name. This will be her 3rd passport. But this time its online and is asking for a reason I can't provide the details.

Can I just put father has been out of the picture since she was a baby?

Put the fathers details that you have. You don't need his passport number or anything as long as you have put your details. You can put a note about having no contact too
