help! Sudocreme on brand new carpet!!!!

this type of scenario cannot be unheard of here!!!!

a friend has got it smeared all into her lovely new carpet!!!!! an early present from the toddler... any suggestions on how to get it out??

I have anavy blue carpet and I have scrubbed it out with Fairy liquid and a scourer. It didn't bobble the carpet but it would not be something i'd recommend if you have a light carpet.
