this type of scenario cannot be unheard of here!!!!

a friend has got it smeared all into her lovely new carpet!!!!! an early present from the toddler... any suggestions on how to get it out??

Could try a babywipe. Test first to make sure it doesn't make the prob worse.

She could try a carpet cleaner like Vanish. It (sometimes) gets rid of toothpaste stains on our carpets.
