Gift for horsey pensioner

Female early 60s not strapped for cash, lives alone with dog.
Healthy, clever, stylish but nit ultramodern, eats well, enjoys a drink. Keeps horse as a pet rather than for riding.

Any ideas for a thoughtful present about £25.
It's a lady I like but don't know very well as she thinks I'm a numpty.
Could buy pretty much whatever she wants, but gets us nice gifts.
Any suggestions?

Warm waterproof gloves are a godsend for outdoor chores, also things like a neckwarmer. A hat with a headlight fitted is another good gift for dark nights, plus good hand cream.

Agree wirh everything said above warm waterproof gloves are the best. My sister got me a pair that I could literally put my hand in a water trough to scoop the ice out and they stayed dry. Fab gift.

Hi viz stuff for her or dog. Basically anything that keeps her warm and dry she will appreciate.

"Pensioner"?🤔

Retired from.work, claims occupational pension, not yet state pension age. Does not work for a living, perhaps retiree would have been better word.

Thanks @GOODCAT and @Stickytreacle will look into waterproof gloves, any recommendations for brand?
Also found appropriate scarf so should make a decent gift for once.

@Ukrainebaby23 Or "person"?

I’d get something from the Emily Cole shop , her illustrations are excellent and she does all sorts of bits and bobs .

Pooracoustics · 08/12/2023 14:43

Head torch

Horse treats (healthy) and hot chocolate

Bot knife/hoof pick/baler twine cutter presented together in a horsey mug.

Neck snood

An Emily Cole gift would be lovely, her drawings are fabulous.

OK, wasn't realising I was being derogatory, was trying to convey, not working lifestyle, would sahm (shes not) also be derogatory?

Have long been a fan of the beanie with integrated light for dog walking, for usefulness, but these tie dye ones are actually nicer hats than the average too.
