Is it true that you can be fined for not celebrating Thanksgiving? I find this quite absurd. How would anyone know or be able to check?

Of course this isn’t true.
Think about it… how could they know considering that Americans live all over the world? What constitutes a celebration? What about the people who work that day? What about people who live in the US but aren’t Americans?

These are all things I told them. Not sure where some people's minds are at tbh. Thanks all for clearing that up.
