Hi girls, my wee girl got her 8 week jags today, since that she's already had her last dose of Calpol for the day at 8pm her temperature at 8.30 is still at 38.3. She has only been drinking 2 ounces if even (usually drinks a full 8) and is heading back to sleep, I'm unsure what to do or is this normal as I was told a temperature can happen. Any advice would be much appreciated, first time mummy here so im new to all of this, thanks💕

Ah goodness, congratulations on your baby. What time did baby have vaccine. Fever tends to peak around six hours.

What's she wearing. Cool, her right down, into just vest.

Keep a close eye next couple of hours, if still unhappy call for advice.

You can never overreact with a baby.

Always better to be safe. Flowers

Thank you so much!💕
I have her in her vest already for the past 2 hours, she got her vaccinations at 11:00am this morning, can't get the temp brought down atall, currently trying her with another bottle aswell but yet again she's not fussed.

Wouldn't overly concern me about milk at this stage.

Look for wet nappies.

Temp can stay up. No harm in giving a call to nhs24 and see what they suggest.

Other suggestions are skin to skin to see if temperature regulates.

I take it your happy with thermometer. I tend to take mine them child.

Fever can last one to two days.

The best advice I was given is follow gut.
