Have you used a psychic medium?

I'm thinking of going to see a medium, has anyone done this and is it worth it?

I know a few people who have. They're all a bunch of cranks. Some are good at cold reading though and can be quite convincing.

Yes and 99% are rubbish. If you look on Etsy there is a woman called liztarotwothvisons she sends videos I find she is good but mostly she says things which have already happened like in her 3 predictions

Why would you choose a medium rather than, say, a grief counsellor? I say this as someone who is fairly woo and has had various odd experiences over the years. I am, however, very, very sceptical about most people who claim to be able to do this, especially when they are making money out of people at a vulnerable point in their lives.

Some people are very skilled at cold readings, as a pp says, I'd be inclined to learn a little more about how they do it, I found Derren Brown's programmes fascinating for instance. Not that he pretends to be a medium.

I hope you find the comfort you are seeking but if your loss is very recent I'd have a chat to your GP if possible about maybe finding a grief counsellor first?
