Another shite Sunday

Dh working all day yesterday so I had kids on my own.
Last night he went to bed at 2am.
This morning ds wakes up at 6.30am. Dh gets up with him and I get dd up for her milk.
Dh had promised to take ds swimming and always goes early to avoid crammed swimming pool
He is very grumpy as has only had 4 hours sleep
Says when he comes back he's not going anywhere else
So that's it, another crap weekend unti next weekend's crapness!

Whenever I feel broody (even though my baby days are gone), I look at these threads and thank the Lord that my 12, 10 and 6 year olds don't get up through the night or need me 24/7 . I do get to spend my Sunday helping ds1 research trench warfare in WW1 and help the other two to learn their spellings though

Same here, DH was in work yesterday, I feel rotten.

Will just be a wasted day.

At least hes off from tuesday onwards, we might band together and actully DO something next week!

well I have lost my phone and I am going insane trying to find it, thats fun too

posieflump - if the weekend are crap in your household, cant you sort out a day out next time and also tell dp to go to bed early next time, as i organised a day out every few weeks and do really enjoy it or otherwise if i leave it to dp we will never go anywhere!!

dh has been away since thurs. ds has been unwell since fri. my head feels like cotton wool. have 2 new spots on my face and am whiter than my now-readybreked-on white top.

I have to go to the outlaws for the whole day and eat either burnt or undercooked food whilst they point out why we cannot afford this latest baby. Oh i love weekends!

Oh i am so with you, dd gets up every night & i get up with her apart from friday night as dp done it then had a lie in sat, ment to be my lie in today but dp never got up cause sat up till god knows what time.

So been up since 6am with dd, was so ill in the night i was sick & had almighty stomach pain but does dp care noooo.

Shit weekend & i am not speaking to him!

Scooby I would go to my mums and go to bed! Obviously waking him and leaving baby with him. What an arse!

We havent really done much this weekend either but I've enjoyed it..

Fri - my sister and her dp came round for a bit
sat i slept in til 10am then got up did us all a fry up then went back to bed until 3pm then I got up lazed around played with the dc's had a bath then did dinner and my best friend came round, dp went out and rolled in at god knows what time.
sun - i woke up at 6.30am to dp being sick and then at 7.45am i woke again and dd2's nappy had leaked on her bed so i bathed her and sorted that out came down got dc's breakfast now they are playing while i drink tea (though am about to go and hang washing out and do dishwasher) Dp is still in bed but it is his turn for a lie in to be fair, dd1 needs to do her homework soon then when dd2 goes to bed for her nap i'll have a bath and go food shopping while dp lounges on the sofa (he doesnt go out often so I don't mind)
did think about going swimming this afternoon, might do if dp isn't too bad when i get back from shopping.
