Electric cars - VW?

Hope this is the right place to post?! We are leasing an electric car through DH's work scheme. Ours is a VW ID.3 but it's taking ages to be delivered as they've said there's a problem with the cooling system so they're still testing it. This is very frustrating for us as we need the car ASAP and also, we're a bit worried that once we get it it may have problems. Does anyone else have experience with this model and has it been OK?!

I have an ID.3 and it's been fine. But they change models so fast I'm not sure other people's experience will be much help - especially as it sounds as if this may be an individual-car fault.
