Odd socks!

Well there might well not be a solution to this problem, but every time we go out my baby ds wriggles about (as babies do!) and we come home minus one sock. I?m developing quite a collection of odd socks now.

I remember this well from when my dd's were tiny! I don't know of any solution to the problem (except maybe sticky tape! just kidding) unless you were to only ever have one kind of sock so then you could just keep matching them up as the other ones disappear. I don't think this is realistic though. It does get better when they get older.

buy a pair of bobux soft shoes - they don't come off. Has certainly saved our socks.

I gave up with socks for DS2 and got a few comments about it. Then I got him some shoes - couldn't take them off. Or you could make him wear babygros all the time.....?!

Tights!

MarsselectionboxLady · 17/12/2004 17:11

I second the bobux or soft shoe option. DS1 lost far too many socks. None of the others have. Couldn't get my poor conservative brain around the idea of putting him in tights.

WigWamBam · 17/12/2004 17:24

But no-one would have noticed that they were tights once he'd got his trousers on, they keep them lovely and toasty and stop that bit between the top of the sock and the bottom of the trousers warm too.

WigWamBam · 17/12/2004 17:25

I didn't mean stop that bit getting warm, I meant stop it getting cold ... but you already knew that

MarsselectionboxLady · 17/12/2004 17:27

WigwamBam it wasn't the people noticing. I'm not known for giving a t*ss what people think. It was all about me and my knowing. I know, call me crazy. It was just the way my poor neglected brain worked then. Has anything changed? Nah, brain still neglected.

WigWamBam · 17/12/2004 17:40

I don't think you're crazy. Not too crazy, anyway
