Presents for DH....

Even though I have a few months yet, I am looking for suggestions for my DH's birthday.

He is notoriously hard to buy for at the best of times, but this year, I'll have just had the baby........

He's into guitars (but I can't afford the ones he likes and I'd never choose the right one anyway!), cars (ditto about affordabilit!) and keeping fit.

He's away ~5 nights per week and time at home is very limited (and will be more so once the baby is here!) so weekends away or even days out are really out of the question...

I did think of a suprise party for him (working away means he doesn't have much time to catch up with friends face to face etc) but it's not a 'special' birthday (he's mid 40s) so not sure if that's a bit odd?

Anyone got ANY ideas....

Only a small thing. If he works away a nice keepsafe of the baby like a photo, would be nice.

My DH works away and loves having things to remind him around.

Does your DH like photos normally? I mean, my DH doesn't carry photos of me or his other kids (other than on his mobile and PC)

I've asked him if he wants a photo of me and the kids but he assures me he won't forget what I look like!!

But, then, he won't be about much at all for the baby's first year, so maybe it'll be a bit more important?
