Never mind, babe.

The first law of scum is:

All else being equal, choose fun over accuracy.

Applies to everything but most especially to learnin of any kind. If he thinks it can be fun he'll gain confidence and a positive attitude instead of thinking that learning is shite and not for him.

(Must admit this law can have (miniscule) drawbacks- I think, together with an undeniable cackhandedness on my part, it explains why I still can't drive!)
