Attitudes to drinking and a *binge* drink is ..........

5 drinks one after the other. I am quite shocked by this I must say. i think i have had too relaxed attitudes towards drinking but I now dont drink in the week

but I would never have considered 5 drinks one after the other excessive am I alone? or have we all become too relaxed?

it just says a 'drink' ie. any alchoholic beverage. I presume it doesnt mean lambrusco though

cant' remember where I read it but it was something along the lines of...
it's better tohave 1 glass of wine an evening than 5+ in one session at the weekend... well that's giving me a good excuse for the evening tipple after dinner

I think it means five units (so 2.5 pints of beer for example, or two triple vodkas) which doesn't seem much really. But I might be wrong. I tend to think I don't drink that much. I very rarely make it up to the 14 units in a week - it would normally be more like 8. But obviously had a major binge on Sunday when I went on the mums and toddlers outing. Four bottles of wine between 3, a malibu and coke and a baileys....
