Huggies Nappies Cause Severe Rash

Please watch out for the Huggies Pull-Ups Trainers Day Girls Nappy Pants, Size 5-6+ (2-4 Yrs) - they caused a horrific nappy rush almost like a chemical burn on my daughter and also caused my niece to break out in a rash. At first we thought our niece was just allergic to the dye in them as they are quite colourful with a Disney princess design and she has especially sensitive skin. We were at my MIL’s house and we put my daughter in these thinking she would be ok as she’s never had a rash from other brands like Pampers or Aldi but she reacted horribly to them. She was screaming in pain after 30 mins of wearing them and when we changed her nappy we saw an extreme nappy rash like we’ve never seen her have before. After searching online it seems that Huggies have been sued in the US and Australia by mums claiming their kids got chemical burns from their nappies. Please watch out and do not use these! My daughter was in horrible pain. I didn’t take a photo of my daughter’s rash due to where it is and her distress but have attached a photo of my niece’s rash. This product should be recalled - I’m writing to the company to complain but wanted to warn other parents first!

same thing happened to me a while back when youngest was in nappies - couldn’t get asda usuals and switched to Huggies, caused the most horrendous red burn type rash. Binned the lot on the spot. What on earth do they put in them to make that happen!

We have been struggling with my little granddaughter with severe rash and blistering over the entire nappy area and sometimes on her thighs since using Huggies pull ups. She's only in the size 4 but we change her instantly due to her having sensitive skin. No nappy rash creams work and she gets so bad she screams in pain and can't sit down which is heartbreaking. She's only 15 month old and this problem has been ongoing for months. I had absolutely no idea pull ups could cause this. How do these trusted companies get away with this. In my eyes it's child abuse and torture. I seen in America there's a law suit for exactly this problem with this company. Why in Australia isn't something being done. I am horrified ! My poor little baby granddaughter has been going through this along with the stress and heartache caused to us because of Huggies pull ups !!!! I am disgusted.
