Oodies, company refusing to cancel order!!

Morning, Just wondering if others have had problems with this company?
Their policy indicates 2/8 days delivery, im weeks passed that and have requested to cancel the order and issue me a refund...they say they can't do that, and if/ when my parcel arrives to send it back...is this correct?

I suppose, from their point of view, if they’ve despatched the order, and they cancel, then you’ll get the money back and the goods will arrive. Meaning you have no incentive to return. But if they’re lost en route, they really should have a way of dealing with that which means you aren’t out of pocket.

Yes because if they’ve sent it out and refund you, you get your money and keep the items.

Once it’s finally delivered you can send it back for a refund.

This is such a weird complaint. Of course they wont give you the money back when it is in transit.

It sounds like the parcel has been lost. If you’re weeks beyond the expected delivery date, it’d expect the company to refund you. I had this recently with Boots. They asked me to wait a few more days and when it still hadn’t arrived, they refunded me. They can’t expect you to just keep waiting.

How did you pay?

So you'd just continue waiting, despite having already waited weeks?
I'm pretty sure the company have not fulfilled their side of the contract if they say it should arrive in 2-8 days.

That's strange I had the same thing with Oodie but they emailed me to say dispatch had been delayed did I want to keep waiting or have a refund.

I’d report the item as not received via PayPal. It doesn’t sound like the company are interested in helping at all.

Youre right. I apologise! I read it wrong. i thought you had ordered it 8 days ago.

raise it with paypal.
