Moving to the Lakes - GDG moves into our house - its going to manic but exciting!

Wow, how exciting! Whereabouts in the Lakes are you moving to?

My parents lived in Cockermouth previously, now in Carlisle, love all of Cumbria.

felt a bit mean doing that - but alls fair and all that!

Moving to just off the A590 (near Newby Bridge) to a tiny 18th century terraced cottage - just the two of us snug as bugs. We'll be gutting the kitchen and hopefully having a first floor extension over the kitchen so we can have a bigger bathroom.
The people are great - I know more about them than I do about my neighbours here of 17 years! Our best friends moved up their last year and they're right across the road so its going to be fab - we'll be ladies who lunch!
