My son (9) is a size 3 shoe...is a childs size 3 the same as an adults size 3?

He needs an adult size 3, but they are still classed as child's shoes until size 5, so you shouldn't pay VAT on them.

Ah! so thats why I can't find any kids shoes in a size 3 that are not intended for babies!

So if I bought him say...a pair of size 3 converse boots, they wouldn't look like clown shoes on him?

I suspect that they would look very nice.
