im guessing most of you seen or heard about MRSGG and that pack of lies she posted on mumsnet, well i was just wondering, what exactly happens with a troll?? i looked up the mumsnet policy on it but i was wondering what exactly happens?? are they banned from here or does the post just get removed??
i thought it was a really sad thing that this mrsgg did, we was all roped in to it and if your like me, i was really worried about her and felt so sorry for what had happend. when she said her waters had broke thats when i knew it was a troll, cos surely you wouldnt be on here posting!! when my waters went it was a big rush/panick etc even with everything ready!! she wouldnt have had anything ready (i mean packed) but she was on here posting!! WTF!!

but anyways i was just wondering what happens, its not fair if these people can do all this, lies and making us feel sorry for them and nout is done. (i know there is not a lot can be done). Everyone has got summing on their mind and mumsnet is a great place to ask real people for advice. i love it, but something should be done about these sad people who have nothing else to do.

so what happens and is there any thing we can put foward to help stop all these lies.

I think they should be shot.

fryalot · 29/02/2008 09:43

nah, shooting's too good for them.

am i right in saying this tho?? all they do is waste our time, im so angry they should be shot. i think most cases are genuine on here but it makes everybody look as if they could be lying, somebody could come on here now with exactly the same prob as MRSGG and we ll either suspect its her under a different name, or that the new post is a lie too (thats my first thoughts) but the new post could be genuine and some one really needing help.

the post would be removed and the user and most probably ISP she was posting from banned. Otherwise - not much that can be done - peril of the internet, and indeed real life - some people put getting attention about other's feelings. All you can do is be very careful about investing emotionally in anyone that you don't know very well/haven't met in real life.
