Ooh that's a big fat budget!

What about some nice gardening handwashes etc - I think Bodyshop do a gift box for gardeners. Or Past Times do.

What about some fancy wellies - they are available in lots of the high-street stores e.g. New Look at the mo for around £20.

M&S have some nicely gift-packaged booze items - little boxes with small drinks etc.

Any particular films? I got the Cary Grant boxset for my birthday and it is fab

£100 - she must be nicer than mine

Thanks MP...the Past Times box sounds a goer. I did query whether she'd wear fancy wellies, but dh has just pointed out that she is currently proudly wearing a 'Motorhead On Tour '04' t-shirt (courtesy of last time she babysat for us) to her local health spa...she's 68!

Pair of good secateurs (Felco do a wide range starting from £22 up to about £50, anyone into gardening would really appreciate getting a pair of these, they do a leather lolster for £10 too (cheaper on the internet for both btw)..a years subscription to Gardener's World (cheaper if you have Tesco vouchers as can use say £9 against a years subscription which is about £33)...packets of seeds, propagator or maybe Alan Titchmarch "How to be a Gardener" (btw I am a gardener and would be absolutely thrilled if someone took the effort to do this for me)...booze...those little shot glasses and small bottles...movies "Gone with the Wind/ Some Like it Hot and so on...btw if you gave her one of each of these things she'd want to popping around all the time in thanks...is that a good thing I wonder

Thanks everyone, brilliant suggestions here - shall print this & go shopping! Currently thinking the secaturs, a boxset of videos, Past Times gift box & a few bottles of red (which she will then share with me as dh doesn't like it, heh heh )
