Hi everyone, l’m new here and this is my first thread. I have been taking the Ozempic injection for several months now and have recently worked my way up to the 0.1 mg dose, I take the injection for my diabetes.
Around 5 weeks ago (around the time I started the 0.1mg dose) I started with a pain in my right foot, this has since led to a severe swelling also. After 3 visits to the doctors and several blood tests he still has no idea what is causing this, it isn’t Gout, it isn’t arthritis, there no no sigh of any inflammation. I am due to have an X-ray in a couple of hours but I am at the stage where the pain is becoming unbearable. I have asked the doctor could it be the injection and he has said no. Im not convinced though and wanted to ask if anyone else has had this happen to them??
I'm at my wits end 😭

Where are you getting supplies from? It's meant to be not available until late 2024

Hello...I've had the same pain in my right foot. Mine felt like cramp or my inner toes in a vice. I've had months of pain killers, anti inflammation meds, x rays the works. My consultant now thinks I have a bunion which has put pressure on the nerves by pushing the toes out of alignment.
I was prescribed amyltripteline 10mg which I only take if in agony.
Awaiting a surgery date.🙄
