OOPS! I have no kids today (DD at school, DS at nursery) and I am babysitting my 3 yr old niece for a few hours whilst her Mum christmas shops..........anyway she arrived about half an hour ago and I was "busy" on the computer so set her down with a video, a sandwich and some juice and said "Auntie Becca will be back in a minute"

I have just gone through thinking I must play with her and she is fast asleep! She must have been shattered but I feel awful that she has gone off to sleep in the room on her own - plus she isnt even lying down, she is sitting in DD's little armchair!

sooooooooo cute Why did my ds never take himself off for a sleep.Enjoy the peace

don't worry - its a tribute to how comfortable she feels in your house to be able to doze off. If she was concerned, she would have cried or come to find you.....

TheHollyAndTheTwiglett · 14/12/2004 13:52

do that with ds and dd all the time

ChristmasBOOZA · 14/12/2004 13:54

She's obviously a very relaxed ittle girl and happy enough to fall asleep when she needed to so no worries.
