did you know that ELC's courier company will not deliver to a business address? You probably didn't as it doesn't tell you this on the website when it offers you an alternative delivery address. It also doesn't tell you this when it sends you an e mail confirming your order and explaining what will happen if the package cannot be delivered because of nobody being at the address to sign for it.
YOu only find this out when after the courier company finally get round to delivering the parcel back to the ELC, the ELC finally get round to putting all the goods back in stock, they then refund your credit card. That's how you find out that the presents that you ordered in plenty of time for christmas are not going to be delivered after all!
Luckily I realised after the goods had still not been delivered after 2 weeks that something was amiss and called them and that's how I learnt about this policy and thankfully, after kicking up a real stink, my goods arrived (at my home address instead) within the 5 working days of my call. But, now the Thomas the Tank engine carry case that I was entitled to free, for spending £30 on Thomas toys, is out of stock!
I've tried using ELC on line 3 times before and never had a success but gave them one more shot as I had lots to buy with it being christmas and it seemed an easy stress free way to do it. How wrong I was!
You have been warned!
