When it comes to buying a new car, I'm old school I want to have face to face contact with a dealer rather than go down the internet route.
So, I need some tips for my mission in the coming week. I've shortlisted a few city cars from different manufacturers. So firstly I need to contact my nearest dealership to organise a test drive. Then once I've decided which car I want ......what next??
My last new car, Ford Ka (which I'm still driving) was Sept 2005. So it's a long time since I've been through this. I found myself wanting to get the whole experience over and done with, I just don't feel comfortable in a showroom environment.
I'm very confident and comfortable in just about any situation you can think of, but put me into a showroom and I'm like a fish out of water.
I just want a small city car, nothing fancy. I can afford to pay cash rather than pay for it over a number of years.
Anyone with any know how or recent experience of buying a new car.......please please share your tips and advice.
Many thanks in advance of any replies.
