Earthquake Detecting

So I have a three story house. Some time ago I was busy typing on the top floor and I felt the house shudder every so slightly, almost as if I had imagined it.

Anyway I thought it may have been an earthquake, so about 10 mins later I noted down the time. I then did a google the next day and sure enough an earthquake had been reported about that time, about 30 miles away.

Last night I was lying on the sofa watching NCIS and I heard a kind of bang. And the sofa kind of hit me in the back. Not a huge punch but I did feel it. Anyway I noted down the time (21:20) and did another search on earthquakes. And sure enough there was an earthquake about 40 miles away at that time last night.

So I am now up to 2 earthquakes for 2023. The human earthquake detector.

Do you use the 'quakefeed' app. It's very informative.
