I have had my driving license for 4 years, got 3 years NC but have now not driven for an entire year. According to my ex this now means that my NCD's will have been wiped and I will have to start again??

So when shopping for car insurance do I now have to say that I have no NCBs?

NCB remains for 2 years after the expiry of the last policy. Some insurers will stretch to 3 years but not many.
