Anyone use JohnLewis?

My Mum has said that I can get dp's xmas present on her Johnlewis card and pay her for it in the new year. I have found two things for him on the website but are both out of stock - typical!! Does anyone know if this just counts for the website or the stores as well?

yeah I'm ok trying to get rid of a bad chesty cough really don't want to be ill at xmas this year I usually am!Really hope it's nothing serious for you you have enough to deal with

have you been to the gp? know what u mean about being ill over xmas. dh is surprisingly well today, he has had an easy day tho. he has been training the puppy to sit and stay lol.
an email friend of ours isnt too well atm, he is in hospital, being pumped full of dirutics and we are all hoping he'll be home in time for xmas. (his wife uses this site, Joanie).

last post on here zephyr misdee I have had 4 lots of antibiotics for a kidney infection and have ended up with a dreadful cough!Feeling ok though and am resting this week to build my strength.Glad your dh has had a good day I know how great those days are!good luck tomorrow

i've just got to go in for mointering this week as the hospital are waiting for liver function tests in case i have Obstetic chlostatis (i have no idea how to say it, let alone spell it!!!), as i am very itchy all over. the test result should be in by end of week and hoping its clear as cant stand being mointered.

If you know what you want, phone up the store and if they don't have it but another of their stores do have it, they can arrange for it to be charged to the account and sent to you (maybe only sent to the cardholders address, so worth checking - also not sure if it will arrive before christmas, again, worth checking).

I actually never order from them online anyway - if you live within 35 miles (I think) of a store, you just phone the store and they send the goods out FOC. I did that with school socks for my ds once!! This week, I found a product online, got the details, phoned my local store. They were out of stock (as the website had been) but checked to see which other stores had the product in stock, gave me the number, so I phoned them and they are sending it out FOC due to the fact that my local store didn't have it in. You cannot fault John Lewis for service. Last year I had some problems with them and they sent me a MASSIVE hamper by way of apology!!
