We have a silver angel which DD made at nursery this year. That will go on top of the tree :)

star DD chose from John Lewis last year. Looks as if it's made out of boiled sweets (we go for a tacky rather than tasteful tree).

Love angels - but not in a religious sort of way, more in a pre-raphelite way.
Have a gold star in the living room and a silver one i the dining room. Did have a fabulous, very sumptuous angel, which has disappeared - probably helped on it's way by DD1 or DD2 when they left home and took half of my furniture (and xmas dec's) with them.

last 3 years a fairy (but she was too small for the top of an 8 footer and looked a little lost)

so this year have bought a huge snowflakey starry thing with big balls on the end of sticks ... oh god I don't know how to explain it
