I was on the Sky News website reading the story about smacking children - they had asked people to email with their comments about the rights and wrongs of smacking - this is one of the responses:

"I think smacking is ok if its called for. I've only been smacked once by my parents, on the back of the legs. I've never worn my mums knickers again.
