wondered if anyone can offer advice on this for me please.
I am selling my car as i now have a company car. I am cancelling my own insurance policy on which i have 3 yrs no claims, as i won't be having an insurance policy in my own name am i going to lose this no claims bonus or is there anyway i can safeguard these?
would it be a good idea to put my name on my dp's policy?

when dh gave up his car to go down to just one for both of us the insurance company gave him a letter with his no claims on it and it lasted for 2 years. IE if he then had a policy within the 2 years the no claims still counted.

If you put your name on dps policy I don't think you'll get no claims anyway.
