Trailer pulling and small engines

After any advice regarding towing a small trailer for camping with a 0.9 engine car. Is this a no go or can it be done?

I personally wouldn't tow with such a small engined car

There are a few websites you can check (if you haven't got the VIN plate), just enter your reg and they can tell you if your car is suitable Tow bar

Mine is a 0.9 and is not suitable to tow, can't even put a tow bar bike rack on the back!

Personally I wouldn't
At 900cc it's going to struggle to cope with 4 people and their luggage that's before you put on a towbar and trailer then load the trailer up.
I've towed caravans and trailers with a diesel for the last 18 years

It isn't so much will it pull the trailer, but more would it be able to stop with the trailer. As previous posters have mentioned. There are a few sites that will tell you what you can safely tow by entering your reg number.

It' clearly safe to tow with as I have found and posted the braked and unbraked towing capacity for the car
So it willp have no issues stopping it it's getting it moving and keeping it moving while climbing a hill on the motorway that would concern me

It doesn't have enough power to pull the outfit along safely IMHO

The cheapest trailer I can see (on the Halford website) is 77kg.

Add in the weight of camping equipment - tent, airbeds, sleeping bags, stove, gas bottle, table and chairs as basics and you're very quickly going to get very heavy.

As pp said, you certainly CAN tow a trailer, but your car will be absolutely gutless if fully laden with people, luggage, camping equipment etc.
