Floppy disk formatting problem - help please

One of my disks has suddenly decided it is unformatted and I don't know what I can do about it. It happens to be the one with lots of very important information on etc. I had been saving on floppy as the hard drive has been having a few problems. It was fine one moment and then not.

Does anyone know if there are still ways to access the information on the disk. I'll be very grateful!

It's probably knackered I'm afraid. Disks aren't very reliable and that's the classic 'it's all f*cked' error message. You could try it on another computer but you'd be clutching at straws.

Thanks morningpaper, not what I wanted to hear though! I have tried it on another PC and it was the same, so I guess I'll have to start again.
