DD1 is 4 today

I can't believe she's 4 already . This time 4 years ago I was quite high on gas & air and pethidene, and about to start pushing with all my might! Only another 45 mins to go and she will be exactly 4!

I feel really emotional today - silly really, as I didn't feel particularly emotional on her other birthdays!

She's a beautiful, funny, loving, [head-strong and determined] girl and I love her to bits. I just can't believe how quickly they grow up. DD2 will be 2 at the end of the month, so I'll probably be a sobbing mass by that stage!

Thank you! Nothing special planned for today - all her presents were opened by 7.30 this morning! Went to pre-school as normal and seeing her "boyfriend" this afternoon. Took her to choose her special "birthday tea" (pizza and chips!) and some cakes for afters so she's a happy bunny! She's having her first birthday party later on in the month, so she's no doubt going to think this will happen every year!!
