Wrongly delivered parcel

Heard a knock at the door, went to get it and a delivery guy handed me a large box and walked away.
It's clearly marked from a flower shop, and through the gaps in the handle I can see a bunch of flowers. I haven't bought any recently, so checked the address and even though it's our address, it's a name I don't recognise.
I don't want the flowers to die so I'm tempted to trim them and stick them in a vase, but then what do I do if someone arrives to take them back?

Search for the name on social media before you claim the flowers

Contact the flower company and explain, ask them what to do.

Just phone the flower shop and explain that they have made a mistake and ask them when they will be collecting the flowers. I'm sure they will be grateful so that they can rectify their error. They might even tell you to keep the flowers.

Thanks all - I did try calling but there was no answer so I used the live chat function and get to keep the flowers as the mistake was with the buyer 😊
