Hi sorry to post this again but I've had a call to say my first gastroscopy is this Friday and it's with NHS in the UK and not private. I'm not sleeping because I'm a huge gagger and my gag reflex is awful and I mean awful. I will take the throat spray but worried the sedation won't be as strong or won't work as it's not private care so I'm guessing NHS hospital sedation may not be as strong? I don't know lol. But seriously Im not sleeping and petrified about Friday as it's the actual day I have to have the first gastroscopy. :( I'm just going to be embarrassed as I let out loud noises when I gag too
