why do young people drive so bloody fast?

It really pisses me off - screaming down narrow country roads, overtaking in dangerous places. And they've usually got theyr stereos blaring out of their open windows. Drives me spare. I'm glad I'm grown up enough not to do it.

why?becaue they think its cool

but its not

The other day I was nearly hit head-on by a teenager overtaking at breakneck speed on a level crossing, just before a bend FGS

they do it to get round all the old farts who are going 20 miles under the speed limit and actually get somewhere before next Christmas.

The young driver incident was mercifully a one-off, but I rant and fume almost daily behind one of the flat cap brigade on the same road

I'm just glad I'm middle-aged nad perfect

Equally, and more pertinent round here, why do old people drive so bloody slow! (20mph on a 60mph this afternoon)

We should revel in our middle aged perfection, for now.

I'm making the most of it while it lasts
