Ok so I took little one to get her hair cut first for a pixie cut as she “hates” me brushing her hair with a passion! So showed the hair dresser a photo of an actress of the type of cut I wanted to go for for my DD, one it looks nothing like it she left the fringe longer than that of the photo I had shown and two why don’t they do the hair in the direction of the customers natural parting? I swear after once I got home you could tell it wasn’t done with her natural parting.
I then went a week later to get my haircut going for the same style as my DD but simply because I can’t be doing with styling it etc anymore, my appointment was with the owner of the salon. I feel my experience was even WORSE than that of my DD’s! Whilst in the chair she was drying it with a hairdryer and one of those round brushes (kinda like a roller) after having sprayed it whilst cutting it. When she was done I pointed out that I didn’t want all this volume she had created near the crown and top of my head I wanted to thinned out, as to look at it the front was flatter than the top of my head. She was then on about training the hair to go a certain way, I explained that “no matter how many times I had been told this in the past it never worked!” She still did it how she wanted to, she also straightened the front of the fringe because I have what is referred to I believe as a “cows lick” I think she said, even though I told her that I don’t have any straighteners as mine were broken a few yrs ago and that if anything I wanted to be able to style it up etc edgy ya know different with a quiff maybe but no she still did what she wanted!
I HATE how my hair looks now and am kinda fuming as feel she did not listen.
Am I wrong in thinking and feeling like this and what should I do?
