Best baby gate for this problem

Can anyone recommend a baby gate or solution please?

I would like to install a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs. The picture shows that the wooden section of the stairs on the right doesn't go to the very bottom of the stairs so a typical baby gate would not fit.

One like this which retracts would probably work? The clip could attach to the white frame on the right hand side.

Babydan we have this one fitted diagonally on the 2nd step up.
