hi,
I am going to sell my trpp trap high chair in my local friday ad instead of ebay as i dont have time to dismantle it or send it. So how much should i sell it for?
it is pretty much perfect and has the red cushions too?

I've just had a look on Ebay for you and two have sold recently. One went for £19 and one for over £60. How much are they new?

clarahj · 09/02/2008 20:04

Oh, i cant remember - £140 maybe, maybe a bit more! My dh wants me to ebay it - but hes not the one who has to take it to pieces and pack it up! Hmmmmm.
It is just taking up valuable space and my 2 year old wont touch it as she is well aware that it was her high chair and will not sit in it as a chair. I want something padded with a tray for ds so i need to get rid.
I will have a look and see how much they ar new as i have no idea at all.

Why not put it on Ebay as a collection only ? You could say on the listing that it will need to collected as it is, not dismantled.

Try for £50 ONO

serin · 09/02/2008 23:32

I would have happily paid £70

In that case, if I were you, I would put it on Ebay, as collection only. Start the auction at a low price to entice people in but put a buy it now of maybe £65.
I put a pushchair on the other week. I started it at 99p and had two watchers within 20 mins. It had a buy it now of £45 and someone bought it using that within the hour. I was really pleased

if you're anywhere near kent/Ldn I might know someone who would like one!

clarahj · 10/02/2008 14:35

I'm near Brighton - is that close enough Piffle? (no probably not!).

Good ideas about ebay - i'll get onto it tomorrow/tuesday and see what happens.
I did worry it might not sell as pick up only but i guess if i advertise in the local paper it is reaching a smaller audience anyway - ho hum!

Thanks everyone

Piffle - if your friend is interested let me know and i will skip ebay

Good luck - I bet it would sell on Ebay. Let me know how you get on

I have seen second hand ones go on ebay for only slightly less than new ones. Go for it.
