Hey. So i seriously messed up when washing my down feather mattress topper. Washed it for 3 hours on a 40 degree setting with normal laundry detergent (first mistake) and then have been drying it for about 3 hours in the tumble dryer on a high heat setting (second mistake) and it still isn't dry and the feathers in each square of the toppers have clumped up together. Please can somebody advise on how I can rectify this!

I think I recall a tip about putting drying balls (or tennis balls?) in the TD with them to help fluff the feathers up.

What do the manufactures instructions say? I think you need to accept you won’t be sleeping on it for the next night or two.
