I'm interested in moving up north from the south coast. I would love a 3 bedroom house and can afford much more up north. My family are all usually in the south but we are pretty nomadic and move around a fair bit. However a move somewhere like Newcastle or similar would be a big move though as I am a single mum to DD who starts school soon. I would love to hear any other stories of people moving north to get a better way of life? Any tips on northern towns would be great. I'd love a large town or city near the coast. I am flexible with work as can work in schools and council settings.
