Toothpaste - whitening

Hi,

im nine weeks pregnant and after brushing my teeth tonight realised my toothpaste I’ve been using is Oral B 3D white and I know that u are supposed to stay clear of whitening products, now a little worried

Don't worry!

Teeth are vulnerable when pg and whitening toothpaste is usually very abrasive

Suggest you get one that is gum and enamel repair

Generally chemical teeth whitener isn't recommended when pg because they've not tested if it's safe for use. Doesn't mean it isn't safe

Didn't know that was a thing. I used a whitening toothpaste throughout my first pregnancy and had no issues.
