Can anyone suggest any good indoor activities please?
I have a 4mth bfing baby who is demanding more and more attention and I need to keep my toddler entertained too.
I read books with him everyday, we do some puzzles and coluring and we may occasionally cook muffins or something but there are about 10 more hrs to fill.
Any suggestions please?
Thanks.

Do you go to any groups? Does he go to playgroup/preschool/nursery?

Hi Jahan, What about playdo, hide and seek, get some big boxes, tubes and 'pretend',dressing up with (your)hats, scarves, shoes etc, cbeebies website, playing in sink with jugs etc, must be much more! Good luck.

I would take him to a playgroup especially in this weather. DS1 used to love them before he went to pre-school. Your DS can run around and get rid of some of his energy and you can sit and drink tea and feed your baby. Perfect I know there is often negative stuff on MN about playgroups but I have always found them fine.

He goes to nursery 2 mornings a week.
I suppose I should try a playgroup for 1 day.

He loves playing with water in the sink. Great idea.

I'm worried about playdough stuff going into the carpet. Do I need to be?

We do go out almost every day.
I just need ideas for when I'm at home and can't give him 100% of my attention.

Not sure about playdo on carpet and whether you can get it off, although I think it will scrape off when dry,or use sheets of newspaper to protect carpet.
